Life Lessons

'He's such a loser' you'll hear someone back bite another.
Some others might think to themselves 'am such a loser'
So I thought I might share my thoughts on a winner's character.
Life has been called a lot of things but my favorite is, a war. Life is a war.
Generally when you go to war you have to arm yourself. Here's a few arms/pons you need to have as a winner.
1.Positivism. This involves a number of points
A) Positive thinking. Every battle begins in the mind. As a man thinks so is he.Tell yourself every day that you're going to make it.
B) positive speech. There's power in words. There's a difference between a person who says, 'I failed', and another who declares 'am a failure'. What you confess you possess. Watch your words. Speak positivism into your situations. Speak positivism against your adversaries. Speak positivism to people going through struggles. You'll be surprised how much difference mere words brings.
C) positive attitude. Wake up every day with a smile on your face and no matter how difficult the day gets, you'll still going to be shining at the end of it. You're way better off facing a bad day with a good attitude than a person with a bad one.




Weapon number 2.
2. Gratitude. Be thankful always. At times we look around and lack something to thank God for. Other times we don't feel the need to thank the people around us because it's their responsibility to do the things they do for us. But gratitude goes a long way. You might think your boss owes you your salary but other bosses fail to pay their workers,delay their payment or such things. So, even if you deserve it, be thankful. You'll live longer and you'll get more when you remain thankful.
God rewards a thankful heart.
3 Confidence. This is the most important of the 3.You might not have the best looks, or be the smartest person on earth. But the way you carry yourself, will determine how well you're going to do in life. Think of tiny David against gigantic Goliath. Think of Gideon and a mere 300 men against an entire Midianite army. What made them win is their confidence in God.
Stand straighter, Walk with a surer gait , keep your head held high. When you speak, don't stutter, and that way you'll be sure to win.
An infamous saying goes.. 'People are sheep, they don't question confidence'
It's the lesson that counts right? 😜
Last but not least. The only force that will make this weapons work is God.
Life is a battle and both the battle and victory are the Lord's.
You might be the most positive person on earth, be grateful and have the confidence of a superhero. But without God. It's all in vain.
Fear God
Seek Him
Trust Him
Commit to Him. It's the only way to really win this battle of life. Because then, if we live, we win, and even if we die, we still win.
