What a way to get exposed

A fine Saturday morning. Its just a few minutes to seven. Janet is from work. She'd been on the night shift and decides to surprise the boyfriend. They'd been arguing on the previous day. He says that Janet is not making time for him - She is all about her work nowadays. She knows that this isn't true and she's willing to go the extra mile to make it work. "He's just missing me" that's the thought running through her mind as the bus nears her destination.

Janet is super excited. Nick will be so happy to see her and they'll be spending some really quality time together. Monday is a public holiday so an extended stay over there would do them good. Enough bonding time.

She's a bit drowsy and only needs a few hours of sleep. She alights the bus, crosses the road and makes her way up the stairs to apartment 404. She has a spare key that Nick had given her. She makes her entry

She looks around the house. She can tell that he is still in bed. She surveys the couch and the tables - looks like it was a party here. It's a bit of a mess and she decides to do a little clean up before joining him in bed.

Cleans up the tables, tidies up the floors and the couch, does the dirty dishes in the kitchen, and finally takes out the trash downstairs.

Upon getting in the house, she notices a pair of stiletto on the rack. Picks it up. "This one ain't mine" she thinks out loud. There's a moment of confusion for her. The shoe is dusty meaning it has been worn recently. She places it back on the rack.

Janet makes strides towards the bedroom. Her heart pounding faster and faster as she nears the bedroom door. She holds the knob and takes a deep sigh before coolly opening the door

"Nick?! Babe!" She calls out. "Who's this in bed with you? What's the meaning of this?" As she starts sobbing. They both wake up. It's Lucia her friend. Janet is starstruck. "What's the meaning of this babe? With my friend Lucia?"

"It's not what it looks like. Lucia came over and we watched a movie before retiring to bed. Nothing happened." Nick defends himself.

She looks at them then looks around. "You're both naked. Your boxer is on the floor. Her clothes are all over. Am I stupid?"

She's angry and in disbelief. "I have loved you Nick. Better than I have ever loved anyone. You have done me wrong this time and that's it for me. Don't come looking for me. And as for you Lucia, never cross my paths coz I'll reap you apart."

She slams the door, picks up her purse on the couch and leaves.

Letter to a Crush

Hello gorgeous, I kind of like you.  By “kind of”, I mean *a whole damn lot.* Yeah. I know you already figured it out. I was too obvious. I gave myself away after I tripped over my words in my previous letters and blushed furiously for it. You figured it out.  Did you enjoy it? But you know what's worse? You, far from my grasp.  Just a fantasy I so heartily crave for: To have you. But I'm afraid because it could probably be just an infatuation. I've never been so physically drawn to a lady as you before. And the person you are at the core, makes you all the more enticing.  I'm so attracted.  I'm so drawn in. Thoughts. I know not if another man lays claim on you or if you're betrothed to another. I dare not think much about it. Else, I go insane.  How can one I don't own have so much control over me? My drug, I'm getting the addiction.  My remedy, I feel whole. I feel complete already At best, you prolly somewhere, beautiful as you are, thinking a...
